Position Overview:We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Data Science Instructor to join our team and lead our Data Science bootcamp. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of Data Science, covering both front-end and back-end components. You will be responsible for guiding students through the entire bootcamp curriculum from start to finish. A strong background in Data Science and relevant work experience is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:Curriculum Development: Design and develop a comprehensive Data Science bootcamp curriculum that covers essential topics, including data analysis, machine learning, data visualization, and more.
Instruction: Deliver engaging and effective lectures, workshops, and hands-on sessions to students of varying skill levels.
Mentorship: Provide one-on-one support and mentorship to students, helping them understand complex concepts and complete projects.
Assessment: Evaluate student progress through assessments, projects, and regular feedback.
Industry Relevance: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Data Science to ensure the curriculum remains current and relevant.
Collaboration: Work with other instructors and staff to enhance the overall bootcamp experience.
Resource Development: Contribute to the development of supplementary learning materials and resources.
Qualifications:Experience: Proven experience in Data Science, with a strong portfolio of relevant projects.
Expertise: Deep understanding of front-end and back-end Data Science, including data analysis, machine learning, data visualization, statistical modeling, and more.
Teaching Skills: Excellent teaching and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
Content Development: Experience in developing and delivering educational content, preferably in a bootcamp or similar intensive learning environment.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in programming languages and tools commonly used in Data Science, such as Python, R, SQL, and relevant libraries and frameworks.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs.
Passion: A passion for teaching and helping students achieve their career goals.
Preferred Qualifications:Education: Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
