We collaborate directly with educators and libraries worldwide, delivering both onsite and remote presentations that include hands-on interaction with our products.
About The Position And Responsibilities:We are excited to invite a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Education and Library Sales Consultant for the Akron and Cleveland areas. Your primary focus will be supporting Ohio's new Science of Reading Initiative. As a member of our team, you will develop and maintain customer relationships by scheduling and conducting in-person or virtual visits to showcase and sell our literacy resources. Your key responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with the Regional Sales Manager to implement effective sales strategies within your assigned territory.
Identifying prospects, setting appointments, and making effective sales calls to expand our customer base.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers in your sales territory.
Traveling within your territory as needed to meet with customers (in-person meetings if requested).
Maintaining a thorough understanding of our products and services to present them effectively to customers.
Attending local and/or state trade shows.
This is an Independent Contractor position.
About You:We are looking for someone who excels in connecting and relating to customers in the education and public library industry, including Librarians, Curriculum Coordinators, Title I Coordinators, Principals, Reading Program Directors, and Teachers. Ideal candidates will also have the following qualities:
Outgoing with excellent speaking and active listening skills.
Self-motivated and driven to succeed.
Proficient in prospecting and cold calling.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office - Word, Excel).
Reliable transportation.
Former librarians, educators, and literacy coaches are highly encouraged to apply.
