Position OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic individual to join our outreach team as a High School Outreach Counselor. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in expanding our free college planning workshops to high schools across the United States. We welcome applications from high school counselors, college admissions counselors, student advisors, or professionals with relevant experience.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop contact lists and reach out to high schools and counselors nationwide.
Inform school counselors about free college planning workshops via email and phone communications.
Stay informed about current admissions trends and various college planning resources.
Collaborate with our marketing team to craft effective outreach messages and schedule workshop events.
Perform other duties as assigned to support our outreach initiatives.
QualificationsPrevious experience as a school counselor, college admissions counselor, student advisor, or in a related field.
Strong connections within school districts or the school counseling community preferred.
Active involvement in local or national counseling or higher education associations.
Excellent communication, marketing, and organizational skills.
Job Type: Part-time, Contract
Pay: Compensation varies based on tasks performed, discussed during interview. Bonuses and incentives available for successful outreach efforts.
Expected Hours: 5 to 30 hours per month, depending on seasonal demands.
Work Setting: Remote; choose your own hours.
