Are you a talented Instructional Designer looking for an exciting opportunity to create impactful learning experiences? We are seeking a creative and dedicated individual to join our team. As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality, engaging, and effective training modules that enhance employees' competencies and customer adoption of our products. This role involves designing, developing, and evaluating the effectiveness of instructional materials and experiences, as well as delivering virtual training modules as needed.
ResponsibilitiesNeeds Assessment:
Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify learning gaps and training requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to determine specific learning objectives and desired outcomes.
Instructional DesignApply instructional design theories, practices, and methods to create compelling learning experiences.
Develop detailed learning objectives, content structure, and assessment strategies for both internal and external product users.
Ensure instructional integrity through systematic design and clear alignment with learning goals.
Content DevelopmentCreate engaging and interactive instructional materials, including presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, videos, and other multimedia content.
Incorporate a variety of instructional techniques, such as role-playing, case studies, and interactive activities.
Ensure content is relevant, up-to-date, and aligned with industry standards and best practices.
Technology IntegrationExplore and implement new technologies and innovative solutions to enhance the learning experience as needed.
Potentially utilize learning management systems (LMS) to design and deliver training.
Implementation And FacilitationCoordinate the rollout and delivery of training for relevant employees, including scheduling and logistics.
Participate in training sessions, workshops, and webinars as needed.
Support and train other trainers to ensure consistent delivery of learning experiences.
Evaluation And FeedbackDevelop and implement evaluation tools to measure the effectiveness and impact of training delivered internally and for customers.
Collect and analyze feedback from participants to assess learning outcomes and identify areas for improvement internally and for customers.
Continuously refine instructional materials based on feedback and evaluation data.
Project ManagementCoordinate with a variety of stakeholders to ensure project success. This includes participating in development meetings, reviewing product specifications, and staying ahead of new product feature sets.
Maintain documentation and records of instructional design processes and outcomes.
Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience
K-12 education experience is a plus
Two years of experience creating learning modules that implement instructional design models and adult learning principles
Ability to gather and assimilate technical information and translate it into learning for all user levels and types with well-defined learning objectives
Experience with learning management systems
Experience with Google and/or Microsoft applications
Proficiency in developing multimedia instructional content
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills; strong presentation skills
A track record of project management with the ability to meet targets and objectives
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively; troubleshoot and problem-solve on your own, yet know when to ask for assistance
