Position OverviewWe are searching for a dedicated and passionate Math Interventionist to join our team. If you have a passion for helping students achieve academic excellence, this role is perfect for you! As a Math Interventionist, you'll collaborate closely with tier 3 students who require additional support in mathematics. You'll have the opportunity to significantly impact their learning journey by fostering confidence and enhancing math skills.
What You'll DoEngage and Empower: Deliver targeted math instruction to students in small groups or one-on-one settings.
Customize Learning: Create and implement individualized learning plans tailored to students' needs and progress.
Monitor and Adjust: Utilize data to monitor student progress and adapt instructional strategies for optimal success.
Collaborate: Coordinate with classroom teachers to align intervention strategies with classroom instruction.
Grow Professionally: Engage in professional development opportunities to stay abreast of best practices in math intervention.
Communicate: Keep parents and guardians informed about student progress and provide guidance for supporting learning at home.
Document: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and intervention strategies.
What You'll BringEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field.
Certification: Possess a valid Michigan teaching certification. (Out-of-state candidates must obtain Michigan certification within 2 months of hire.)
Experience: Demonstrated experience in virtual teaching and curriculum development, particularly in middle school education.
Tech Savvy: Proficient with digital educational platforms such as Edmentum and Seesaw.
Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Availability: Able to commit to a minimum of 30 hours per week.
