Position OverviewWe are seeking a talented and experienced professional to join our team as an Online Instructor and Video Lecturer. This dual-role position involves teaching our Introduction to Estimating (PFC 121) course and developing new courses focused on Bluebeam and Estimating skills. The ideal candidate is actively working in estimating within the AEC industry and has daily experience with Bluebeam.
Key ResponsibilitiesOnline Instructor:
Teach the PFC 121 course, offering comprehensive instruction and support to students.
Engage with students through discussion boards, emails, and virtual office hours.
Provide timely and constructive feedback on assignments and assessments.
Conduct live webinars and Q&A sessions to enhance student understanding and engagement.
Collaborate with the team to continually enhance course content and delivery.
Video LecturerDevelop and produce high-quality video lectures for new courses on Bluebeam and Estimating skills.
Create structured, clear, and engaging instructional videos catering to a diverse student audience.
Utilize real-world examples and practical demonstrations to enrich the learning experience.
Ensure all video content aligns with educational standards and objectives.
Stay updated with industry trends and integrate the latest practices into course materials.
QualificationsExtensive experience in estimating within the AEC industry.
Proficiency in Bluebeam, with daily practical usage.
Strong knowledge of architecture, engineering, and construction principles.
Previous Teaching Or Training Experience Preferred.Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to create engaging and informative educational content.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable with online teaching platforms and video production tools.
Preferred SkillsExperience with other relevant software and tools used in the AEC industry.
Familiarity with online education best practices.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
