Job DescriptionAs a valued member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting students across various ages and abilities. Your primary focus will be conducting assessments and providing tailored support to meet their unique learning needs.
ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic achievement, social-emotional functioning, and behavior.
Utilize standardized assessments and diagnostic tools to gather pertinent data on students' strengths, challenges, and areas for growth.
Analyze assessment results to inform educational planning, intervention strategies, and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop effective interventions and supports to enhance students' academic success.
Contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans.
Support school-wide initiatives aimed at fostering a positive school climate and promoting student mental health.
Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring data.
QualificationsMaster's or doctoral degree in School Psychology.
Active Illinois School Psychology License.
Professional Support Personnel License required.
Preferably, a minimum of 2 years of experience working as a school psychologist.
