Get It Recruit - Educational Services is Hiring a Remote School Relations Manager - Remote | WFH

About UsWe are a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a more peaceful and sustainable global community. Our mission is achieved through a variety of programs that promote cultural exchange, eco-fair trade, volunteerism, personal development, and environmentalism. Our organization is divided into three main branches: Exchange, Travel, and Shop.
The Account Management Department provides support for hosts of various Department of State programs (inbound) and our Travel programs (outbound). This includes Work & Travel, Career Advancement, Teach USA, J-1 High School, F-1, and Short-Term Programs. As the School Relations Manager for Teach USA, you will be responsible for selling to new and existing host schools, supporting account reviews and vetting, and facilitating the participant placement process in collaboration with partners, hosts, and staff. Tasks may vary depending on department needs and focus areas. You will be expected to deliver quality services, maintain clear communication, and provide excellent programming to all stakeholders.
What We're Looking ForWe seek a positive, organized individual who can adapt to changing priorities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in high-level sales, exceptional customer service skills, strong time management abilities, and be tech-savvy. You should be self-directed, comfortable communicating with diverse stakeholders, and motivated by program goals, while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards. Operating in a fast-paced environment, you must be capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines with a solution-focused approach. Empathy is essential, as we value the ability to relate to people from various backgrounds and beliefs. Experience in the U.S. educational system or working in schools is a plus!
Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Teach USA Senior Management team to develop and implement a strategic host school sales strategy to meet departmental goals.
Work with the Teach USA School Relations Director to create and execute educational programs for host schools, enhancing the placement experience for schools and teachers in the program.
Engage in high-level sales activities, including sales plan creation, pipeline management, presentations to schools, and attendance at industry conferences, always representing our organization professionally and positively.
Contribute to compliance and quality program growth by improving the quality and quantity of school positions at new and existing host schools, adhering to U.S. Department of State regulations to enhance the participant experience.
Provide quality service through regular, professional, and courteous communication with hosts, partners, and participants.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date host school database records.
Support and facilitate the interview process between hosts, partners, and future participants, with the help of other Teach USA team members.
Oversee the vetting and placement lifecycle of school accounts.
Meet and exceed individual and departmental goals.
Utilize technology to streamline internal processes.
Attend and contribute to weekly staff meetings, offering suggestions, solutions, and collaborating on projects and strategies.
QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
A minimum of 2-4 years of previous sales success.
Ability to draw conclusions and create strategies based on metrics.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills for investigating and solving problems efficiently.
High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and Salesforce.
Proven customer service experience, including conflict resolution and managing sensitive situations.
Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced, remote environment.
A positive attitude and sense of humor are a plus!
Experience studying, volunteering, or working abroad, and/or in a multicultural or multilingual environment is highly desirable.
