About The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Science Curriculum Designer to build a Rockets course for our students. As a curriculum designer, you will:
Work as an independent contractor with flexible hours and remote work
Collaborate closely with our Instructional Team to outline multiple courses for various grade levels
Design digital lesson content for grades K-8
Ensure lesson content aligns with state and federal standards
Create training and lesson plan content for instructors
About YouCandidates for this position must possess the following qualifications:
2 years of experience as a science teacher for elementary or middle school
A degree in instructional/curriculum design, science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Proficiency in tools such as Photoshop or Illustrator is greatly preferred for designing visual lesson assets
Expert-level proficiency in the Google Suite to create, share, and collaborate on lesson content
Reliable Internet and computer access
Flexible availability for the duration of the contract, at least 1-2 hours per weekday
