About The RoleAs the Senior Director for Educational Equity, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our vision to advance educational opportunity and equity throughout the South. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and supporting strategic initiatives focused on early childhood education, K-12 educational equity, and post-secondary credential attainment.
Overseeing significant projects such as Great Expectations, Home-based Child Care (HBCC), and Learning for Equity: a Network for Solutions (LENS).
Collaborating closely with internal teams to track progress, measure impact, and share insights with external stakeholders.
Cultivating partnerships with foundations, governmental agencies, nonprofits, and community leaders to expand our reach and amplify our impact.
QualificationsWe are looking for candidates with:
10-15 years of relevant experience in the education sector.
A deep commitment to equity and demonstrated experience in promoting equity within educational settings.
A track record of shaping and leading significant education initiatives.
Strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on fostering inclusive decision-making.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build productive partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
