Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and provide services to students with learning, mental, emotional, or physical disabilities.
  • Collaborate with families and faculty to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Lead the execution of IEPs across various school settings, ensuring compliance and effectiveness.
  • Monitor and assess the progress of IEPs, adjusting strategies to meet students' needs.
  • Deliver research-based individual and group instruction aligned with curriculum and IEP goals.
  • Conduct special education evaluations and reevaluations to track student progress.
  • Supervise and guide paraprofessionals as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and caregivers to resolve issues.
  • Perform additional duties to support the school district and its students.
Requirements
  • Valid New Hampshire licenses and certifications are required.
  • Experience as a Special Education Teacher and participation in IEP teams.
  • Strong collaborative skills and a proven ability to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A genuine commitment to students’ well-being and educational success.
