About the Position: Senior Instructional Designer
What You'll DoDesign, develop, and implement innovative learning solutions using various methods and tools, ensuring alignment with learner needs and performance objectives.
Utilize current learning technologies to enhance course design and delivery, adhering to best-in-class instructional design processes to produce effective and creative materials efficiently.
Analyze student learning outcomes and recommend improvements for courses and programs, presenting findings to management as needed. Participate in student assessment activities.
Manage large-scale, strategic projects by prioritizing tasks effectively and collaborating with leadership on vision and strategy. Stay updated on emerging educational technologies and apply them to initiatives.
Apply knowledge of learning theories and instructional best practices to enhance course design, pedagogy, technology integration, and assessment.
Create and manage curricular content within learning management systems (LMS), including video content and using authoring tools like Word Press, Rise, and Storyline.
Ensure content accessibility and usability in compliance with accessibility requirements, testing as needed in LMS environments.
Mentor and coach instructional design team members, facilitating learning sessions on emerging technologies and course development trends.
Maintain professional knowledge through research and educational workshops.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesPerform other duties as required.

Minimum Education And ExperienceBachelor's Degree in instructional design or related field.
Four (4) years of experience in instructional design.
Additional QualificationsAdvanced understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design theories, and distance learning methodologies.
Master's degree in instructional design or related field preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various eLearning tools such as Articulate Storyline or similar.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and superior organizational abilities.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects, respond promptly to internal customer needs, and meet deadlines effectively.
Creative writing ability, collaborative mindset, and results-oriented approach.
Curiosity, adaptability, and a consultative orientation.

Pay RangeThe annual pay range for this position is $63,200 (minimum), $95,500 (midpoint), and $127,800 (maximum). Actual starting pay may vary based on qualifications and location.
