  • **Development Operations:** Create effective strategies for development operations, manage CRM systems, and lead training sessions to enhance fundraising capabilities.
  • **Cultural Leadership:** As a development leader, promote core values and an inclusive culture, actively championing anti-racist practices and striving for continuous improvement.
**Qualifications & Requirements**
  • **Experience:** 10 years in nonprofit strategy, fundraising, and operations with a measurable record of revenue generation. Familiarity with CRM systems and team management is essential.
  • **Technical Skills:** Bachelor's degree required, alongside strong communication, organizational skills, and experience with Salesforce. Proficiency in G-suite, Slack, and presentation tools is preferred.
  • **Transportation & Availability:** This role involves frequent travel (about 25%), requiring participation in meetings and events at various locations. Flexibility for occasional weekend and evening work is expected.
**Core Values**
  • **Dynamic Leadership:** Strategic thinking and bold vision-setting for the donor portfolio.
  • **High-Quality Work:** Commitment to excellence in all outputs.
  • **Ambition & Adaptability:** Setting ambitious goals and adapting to changing landscapes.
  • **Communication & Solutions Orientation:** Active listening and effective response in addressing challenges.
**Functional Knowledge**
Expertise in fundraising best practices, particularly foundation fundraising and grant writing, is crucial. Familiarity with education policy and the political landscape is preferred.
**Compensation & Benefits**
We value our team members and offer competitive salaries and benefits, including paid time off, health insurance, and pre-tax benefits. The salary range for this role is between $125,000 and $200,000, based on experience and location.
