About The RoleWe're seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our virtual school team. In this part-time, remote position, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives by providing specialized therapy services from the comfort of your own home.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs and goals.
Provide engaging and effective virtual therapy sessions using evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to enhance students' academic and functional performance.
Monitor and track students' progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
Offer guidance and support to teachers and staff on strategies to boost students' participation and engagement in virtual learning environments.
Stay informed about the latest best practices, trends, and developments in occupational therapy and virtual education.
QualificationsMaster's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Experience as an Occupational Therapist in a school setting is preferred.
Proficiency with virtual platforms for delivering therapy sessions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively manage a caseload.
Passion for delivering high-quality services to students from diverse backgrounds.
