While this position involves virtual instruction, occasional travel and in-person attendance are required for state testing and student events. ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary instructor and guide for assigned students Dedicate yourself to achieving all academic and cultural goals, including state-specific accountability targets Deliver engaging live lessons via web conference, tailored to individual student requirements and grounded in research-based teaching methodologies Set up courses within the Learning Management System Provide daily feedback and grade assignments, monitoring student progress in asynchronous courses Maintain regular contact with each student and collaborate with the Principal to create and deliver progress reports Utilize student data to adjust instructional strategies accordingly Implement differentiated instruction to cater to diverse learning needs Foster a nurturing classroom environment that promotes joy, care, and inclusivity Integrate culturally responsive teaching practices into daily interactions with students, parents, and colleagues Uphold school-wide cultural norms and expectations Communicate consistently with families regarding their child's academic and social-emotional development Incorporate 21st-century technology skills into classroom activities Participate in non-instructional activities such as social events and field trips, both in planning and attendance Collaborate effectively and respectfully with colleagues Travel occasionally for required face-to-face state testing Perform additional duties as assigned RequirementsPossession of a current state teaching license in the relevant content area Familiarity with State Standards and Common Core Standards Preferred Minimum Of Two Years' Teaching ExperienceComfortable working in a growth-focused coaching environment with regular observations and feedback sessions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word and Outlook Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Capability to stand for up to 90 minutes at a time and supervise students in various school settings Successful completion of federal and state criminal background checks Experience in a multicultural setting is desirable About Us"We believe that every child should be able to be anything they want in life, regardless of their birthplace and circumstances." - Ron Packard, CEO & Founder Employment Type: Full-Time
