ResponsibilitiesStrategic Financial Leadership:
- Collaborate with the board to offer strategic financial recommendations based on analysis and projections.
- Oversee budgeting processes, ensuring efficient implementation and monitoring progress through operational metrics.
- Drive growth through expert analysis and strategic planning, overseeing all contracts.
- Act as the primary liaison with third parties, ensuring effective communication and technological implementation.
- Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, assessing service delivery cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain internal controls to ensure regulatory compliance and propose long-term financial plans.
- Provide routine and ad-hoc reports on budget execution, cash status, and debt for the board. Prepare monthly financial statements.
- Coordinate with Corporate Tax Accountant on tax returns and filings.
- CPA qualification preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel required.
- Experience in pricing government contract proposals highly valued.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required.
- Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, with 5-7 years in financial and management roles.
- Knowledge of DCAA requirements, GSA MAS contracts, and accounting systems beneficial.
- Experience with overseas programs/contracts and Service Contract Act programs advantageous.
