The Role of Vice President of Strategy, Store Operations
As the Vice President of Strategy, Store Operations, you play a crucial role in shaping our retail operations in the U.S. and Canada. This position presents an exciting opportunity to enhance customer experiences and drive excellence in our stores. Based at our corporate office in Atlanta, you will report to the Senior Vice President of Store Operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership (40%):

• Develop and execute retail strategic plans in collaboration with key departments to drive important decisions and investments.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team to cultivate excellence and accountability.
• Use performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and risks, optimizing operations in all locations.
• Spearhead strategic initiatives involving cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive execution of operational strategies.

Effective Communication and Process Optimization (20%):

• Manage communication strategies between retail locations and corporate to facilitate continuous improvement.
• Foster partnerships across departments to align on initiatives, improve store processes, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Innovation and Customer Experience (20%):

• Advocate for innovative solutions that elevate the shopping experience and meet changing consumer needs through technology and creative problem-solving.
• Lead the strategy for omni-channel enhancements to ensure an integrated customer experience across all platforms.

Facilities Management and Safety (20%):

• Provide strategic oversight to the Facilities team to maintain safety standards and enhance the customer and employee experience.
• Develop and implement safety and security programs, optimize store layouts, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in retail operations, strategy, or a related field, preferably in a dynamic retail environment.
• BA/BS degree and expertise in retail systems and technology, including omni-channel models.
• Experienced leader with the ability to mentor teams and drive successful business outcomes.
• Strong critical thinking and business acumen for success in a complex, cross-functional environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed, primarily domestically, with potential for international travel based on business needs.
