- Ensure compliance with company, state, and federal regulations to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Collaborate with management and healthcare providers to oversee daily operations and procedures.
- Provide nursing support and assist in staffing, training, equipment management, and regulatory compliance.
- Uphold quality standards through regulatory compliance and Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives.
- Supervise staff to ensure safe delivery of patient care services, including vascular access procedures.
- Delegate tasks, monitor adherence to policies, and provide support and corrective action as needed.
- Assist in staff development, performance evaluations, and conduct equipment training sessions.
- Coordinate patient care from admission to discharge, ensuring efficient scheduling and education.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, administer medications, and respond to emergencies.
- Participate in meetings, contribute to agenda preparation, and oversee facility equipment maintenance.
- Engage in Continuous Quality Improvement activities, manage medication inventory, and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with pharmacists, address regulatory deficiencies, and maintain accurate records of implanted devices.
- Adhere to HIPAA policies, maintain CLIA license, and ensure compliance with organizational standards and state regulations.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current state licensure and ACLS certification.
- Minimum three years' experience in Ambulatory Surgical Center/Vascular Access Lab or related healthcare settings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, strong communication skills, and BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- ASC certification preferred, with experience in Interventional Radiology or surgical environments.
- Previous supervisory or management experience in medical or vascular access settings is advantageous.
- Involves desk work, computer interaction, and direct engagement with patients, staff, and physicians.
- Occasional travel may be required between facilities and community locations.
- Exposure to infectious materials and diseases in a healthcare facility environment.
