Your Impact as Vice President of Accounting and Controller
As the Vice President of Accounting and Controller at [Company], you will be a key player in shaping our future. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead the Payroll and Accounting Teams to uphold and enhance our unique company culture. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily financial operations, ensuring compliance, and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and monitor accounting standards changes.
• Oversee billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll operations.
• Lead period-end close process and present variance analysis to senior leadership.
• Maintain accuracy of financial statements and enhance internal controls.
• Manage external audits and prepare for future growth strategies.
• Mentor team members, oversee tax filings, and collaborate on budgeting with FP&A.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• CPA license required; CMA preferred.
• 10 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance.
• Experience in payroll management and leadership roles.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Restaurant industry experience a plus.

• Ability to manage a 45-55 hour work week.

• Compensation: Base salary $190,000-$220,000 (Bonus and equity eligible)
