Position SummaryAs the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), you will play a vital role in overseeing patient care delivery and clinical operations round the clock. Your responsibilities will include leading nursing staff, effectively managing resources, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards to maintain the highest quality of care.
Minimum Requirements
  • Graduate of an Accredited Nursing School; Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing preferred
  • State nursing license; board-certified or board-eligible
  • Specialization in correctional healthcare preferred (CCHP or CCHP-RN)
  • 3 years of clinical experience, particularly in correctional healthcare
  • Experience in clinical operations management
Essential Functions
  • Develop and implement nursing care plans within correctional facilities
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality improvement initiatives
  • Lead recruitment, orientation, and ongoing training of nursing staff
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and safety
  • Participate in strategic initiatives and process improvement committees
