DescriptionIn this role, you will take charge of leading property management teams and overseeing the daily operations of a multi-family property management portfolio. You will be responsible for driving business growth, optimizing resources, and ensuring both long-term health and financial performance of the assets. Your leadership will cultivate teamwork, enhance efficiency, and uphold outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all property operations, including maintenance, leasing, and resident management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build strong relationships with residents, vendors, partners, and owners.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to property management teams, ensuring effective management and support.
  • Act as the liaison with local military partners to meet compliance standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders.
  • Create and implement strategic plans for asset maintenance and preventative care.
  • Contribute to the development of annual growth objectives and resource planning.
  • Lead the creation and execution of customer service programs and evaluation processes.
  • Manage the property management portfolio, including capital repairs and replacements.
  • Work with the VP of Property Operations to enhance operational efficiencies and excellence.
  • Review monthly Operating Statements and track financial performance, addressing any discrepancies.
  • Develop and manage the Property Management Annual Operating Budget and support in preparing performance incentive fees.
  • Oversee vendor management, including sourcing vendors and ensuring adherence to service agreements.
  • Collaborate with the VP on best practices and support various initiatives.
  • Achieve financial goals and assist with new business opportunities.
  • Conduct regular operations meetings to ensure consistency and track progress.
  • Participate in strategy and operations meetings to shape long-term objectives.
  • Support marketing initiatives and assist in construction planning and execution.
  • Engage in stakeholder meetings and mentor property operations team members.
  • Be prepared to work on-site during emergencies to safeguard residents and assets.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
Supervisor Responsibilities
  • Supervise staff, including hiring, scheduling, performance reviews, and recommending promotions or terminations.
  • Manage others through subordinate supervisors.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate or a related field, or equivalent industry credentialing.
  • 5 years of experience in managing a multi-site property management portfolio, with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • 3 years of supervisory experience in property management or hospitality.
  • Strong understanding of organizational resources, priorities, and policies.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships, enhance customer experience, and drive financial performance.
  • Skilled in analyzing data, strategic relationship-building, and motivating diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in operational software (e.g., Yardi, Entrata), MS Word, Excel, and business intelligence platforms.
  • Proactive, with excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25 percent of the time.
  • Valid driver's license required.
Work Environment
  • Office setting with travel comprising up to 25-40 percent of duties.
  • Must be able to work from home with minimal distractions.
  • Site visits may require Personal Protective Equipment and exposure to various environmental conditions.
Physical Demands
  • Regular travel and minimal lifting (up to 25 lbs.).
  • Prolonged sitting and use of office equipment.
  • Good manual dexterity and stress management skills.
Salary Information
  • \(96,647.46 - \)123,907.00 annually
