Role Overview As a Senior Manager of Major Programs at Cemex US Supply Chain, you will be instrumental in shaping, executing, and enhancing strategic project operations. Working closely with the Vice President of Supply Chain Strategy & Major Programs, you will lead a team responsible for technical and project management across our organization. Key Responsibilities Safety Leadership: Uphold a culture of safety excellence, ensuring compliance with safety standards for all team members and partners. Strategic Project Oversight: Develop and implement project plans aligned with long-term business objectives, managing scope, schedule, and budget effectively. Collaborative Leadership: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to drive project success. Resource and Financial Management: Allocate resources efficiently, implement cost-saving measures, and ensure adherence to budget requirements. Risk and Compliance Management: Identify and address project risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Quality Assurance and Innovation: Maintain high-quality standards and promote innovation to enhance operational efficiency. QualificationsDeep understanding of safety principles and a track record of prioritizing safety in project execution 15 years of experience in supply chain project management within complex organizational settings Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) desirable Willingness to travel frequently (~40-50%) to project locations Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish a plus Skills And AbilitiesProficiency in managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills Sound financial management abilities, including budgeting and forecasting Exceptional leadership and communication skills Flexible and adaptive to changing project needs Skilled in managing internal and external stakeholders effectively Working Conditions This role involves spending time in field operations and customer sites as required.
