Get It Recruit - Executive is Hiring an Executive Assistant to the CEO Near Washington, DC

Join our team as an Executive Assistant, a vital position that supports our CEO and Board of Directors to ensure seamless operations.
ResponsibilitiesCEO Support:
  • Manage the CEO's schedule efficiently, handling appointments, meetings, and speaking engagements.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, itineraries, and speaker notes.
  • Coordinate logistics for CEO meetings and events.
  • Arrange CEO travel and manage related expenses for reimbursement.
  • Assist in creating and editing presentations.
  • Provide support to other members of the Executive Team as needed.
Board Affairs
  • Act as a key contact between the Board and staff, facilitating communication and support.
  • Organize Board and committee meetings, including scheduling and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Coordinate travel for Board members and maintain detailed records of activities.
  • Develop content for Board member orientations.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards and maintain official records.
General Administrative Duties
  • Manage the Chief External Relations Officer's calendar and assist with scheduling and correspondence.
  • Draft and finalize complex documents and letters.
  • Handle incoming calls and participate in committees.
  • Support special projects and other assigned tasks.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or 7 years in similar roles.
  • Experience supporting executives and Boards, familiarity with 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) guidelines preferred.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and database management.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and diverse perspectives.
Work Schedule
  • On-site work in Washington, DC required 2-3 days per week, with occasional evening and weekend commitments for special events.
Compensation
  • Annual salary range of $65,000 - $70,000.
