Get It Recruit - Executive is Hiring an Experienced Budget Director - Strategic Financial Leadership Near Wilmington, DE

DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced professional to join our dynamic team in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) within the Government Services Cluster (GSC). In this role, you will work closely with the Associate Chief Financial Officer (ACFO) to provide expert guidance on budgeting and financial planning, ensuring our financial strategies align with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Advise and support the ACFO in managing the overall budget, including preparing, reviewing, and analyzing budgetary proposals and forecasts.
  • Lead the development and implementation of budget plans and strategies to optimize resource allocation and support organizational priorities.
  • Conduct detailed financial analyses to provide insights into budget performance, identify trends, and recommend adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely budget reporting and to address any budget-related concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies, and prepare comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in budget management and financial planning.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
