ResponsibilitiesAs a senior executive with at least 10 years of leadership experience in commercial banking, you will:
Work with senior leadership to define strategic direction, manage risk, and create long-term value for customers, employees, the community, and shareholders.
Drive loan and deposit growth through strategic planning and implementation of growth strategies aligned with portfolio and market objectives.
Lead and mentor teams across commercial banking, residential lending, and treasury management, fostering innovation, performance, and accountability with a focus on exceptional customer experiences.
Set and achieve annual growth goals for loans and deposits, ensuring the business meets or exceeds strategic performance expectations.
Build and nurture relationships with key commercial clients, addressing complex issues or concerns effectively.
Develop and implement tailored products and services to meet the diverse needs of commercial banking customers.
Identify and manage credit risks, addressing potential weaknesses early to facilitate successful resolution of problem loans.
Oversee customer experience to ensure high levels of service and support throughout the organization.
Manage loan and deposit product pricing, structure, and features, participating in the Asset Liability Management Committee (ALCO) to analyze financial and market trends for competitive product positioning.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Executive-level leadership experience in commercial lending, with strong expertise in residential lending and treasury management.
A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in commercial banking, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven strategic planning and execution capabilities.
Strong leadership skills with a successful track record in leading customer-focused sales teams and business development.
In-depth understanding of asset liability management along with experience in pricing and positioning commercial deposit products and services.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to set and manage priorities effectively.
