We are looking for a dedicated financial professional to take on a significant role within our organization. This position involves collaborating closely with leadership to enhance financial reporting and analysis while maintaining open lines of communication with various financial teams.
**Key Responsibilities**

• Oversee the monthly close process, ensuring accurate data integration into financial software.
• Prepare and present financial statements on a monthly and annual basis.
• Manage the compliance and processing of quarterly and annual payroll taxes (including forms such as 940, 941, NYS45).
• Coordinate annual audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Maintain and reinforce financial controls aligned with established protocols.
• Communicate key financial metrics effectively to senior management.
• Collaborate with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll departments to support financial operations.
• Analyze and consolidate expense data to deliver actionable insights for strategic decision-making.

**Qualifications and Skills**

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a senior accounting or controller capacity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly in utilizing advanced formulas.
• Experience within a healthcare environment is advantageous.
• CPA certification is preferred but not necessary.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and organizational capabilities.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and engage effectively in a senior management team setting.
