Get It Recruit - Executive is Hiring a Senior Vice President of Valuations and Appraisal Near Washington, DC

DescriptionAre you a seasoned real estate professional ready to elevate your career? As a key member of our Valuations/Appraisal team, you will be responsible for preparing comprehensive market value appraisals for a diverse range of properties. Working independently on appraisals while receiving oversight from a Managing Director, you will ensure the highest quality in your detailed analysis and reporting.
Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement: Understand and define the value estimation needs by discussing appraisal requests and project scopes with clients.
  • Valuation Methodology: Select and apply suitable valuation methods and techniques to determine property values.
  • Research and Analysis: Gather and analyze property data, including sales, listings, and market trends, to support accurate valuation.
  • Report Preparation: Draft detailed appraisal reports outlining property characteristics, valuation methods, and analysis, while disclosing assumptions and conditions.
  • Professional Growth: Stay updated on real estate market trends and engage in continuous learning and professional development.
  • Reputation Maintenance: Uphold the highest standards of practice by adhering to professional appraisal standards and confidentiality requirements.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Enhance databases, support unique market specialties, mentor junior team members, and foster client relationships to contribute to broader company goals.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 12 years in commercial appraisal and 3 years in review experience, with a proven track record of producing significant appraisal work.
  • Certifications: General State Certification/License and MAI designation are required.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Argus, Microsoft Word, and Excel; strong writing skills.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of financial real estate terms, valuation approaches, and ability to analyze and present business documents effectively.
  • Analytical Ability: High-level analytical skills with experience in strategic problem-solving in complex sales environments.

CompensationThe salary range for this position is between \(42,000 and \)47,500 annually, with the final offer based on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
