Job SummaryAre you passionate about accounting and loan operations? We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounting & Loan Operations Supervisor to lead our accounting and loan operations for the dental and veterinary equipment finance sectors in the US and Canada. In this pivotal role, you will manage, review, and enhance loan operations and reporting procedures, ensuring high efficiency and effectiveness in our corporate equipment financing department. You will report directly to the Senior Equipment Finance Operations Manager.

Leadership and Team Development: Manage, coach, and develop the Loan Processing and Lien Administration team members.
Documentation Management: Ensure timely and accurate preparation of documentation for Strategic Accounts and Equipment Finance teams, including installment contract preparation, lien filings, and contract insurance coverage.
Education and Guidance: Educate and guide branch personnel to ensure accurate and timely documentation preparation and submission.
Contract Management: Communicate with regional and branch personnel regarding transaction funding status in a timely manner.
Decision Making: Use sound judgment in directing the loan processing team to prioritize day-to-day responsibilities.
Software Operations and Accounting: Handle software operations and accounting entries or adjustments related to contract modifications, repossessions, or legal activities.
Finance Reporting: Accurately calculate and report finance bonuses for each business unit, including booking accrual entries.
Reconciliation: Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of equipment finance general ledger accounts.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously review and gather feedback from branches and internal team members to recommend improvements for greater operational efficacy.
Reporting: Prepare and compile reports under the general direction of the Senior Equipment Finance Operations Manager.
Policy Compliance: Manage, assess, and continuously improve all processing procedures to ensure policy compliance.
Cross-Departmental Support: Provide backup support to the Accounting Program Manager, Financial Software Analyst, and other cross-departmental roles as directed by the Senior Operations Manager.
Additional Functions: Handle projects that arise from day-to-day business and perform other duties as assigned.
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting.
2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a mortgage or installment loan lending/banking environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated strong customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications1 years of leadership or management experience.
Advanced skills in Excel and/or Access.
Experience With SAP Or Other Major ERP Systems.Location and Work Environment
This role primarily offers remote work with occasional requirements to attend team meetings at our corporate office in Mendota Heights, MN.
