DescriptionAre you passionate about transforming IT service delivery with Agile methodologies? We are looking for a talented Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in redefining how we deliver IT services across web, engineering, operations, security, and emerging technologies. Your expertise will help us design a tailored Agile model and guide individuals through its adoption, leveraging principles of change management and organizational design.
Responsibilities
  • Lead Agile Practices: Facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, story grooming, and retrospectives with a focus on team collaboration and improvement.
  • Coach and Train: Support new Product Owners in understanding Agile values, frameworks, and tools, and help create engaging sprint reviews and demos.
  • Enhance Team Performance: Assist with writing user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria, while aiding in story prioritization and backlog management.
  • Mentor and Guide: Provide mentorship in Agile and Scrum best practices, working to boost team velocity and sprint capacity.
Requirements
  • Agile Experience: At least 3 years of experience using Agile frameworks for IT projects, with a track record of translating business requirements into technical solutions and roadmaps.
  • Facilitation Skills: Strong skills in facilitating requirements gathering and strategic planning sessions, with proficiency in Jira, Trello, or similar project management tools.
  • Certifications: At least one certification such as CSPO or PSPO, or higher.
  • Adaptability: Ability to handle ambiguity and swiftly evolving client needs, with a keen interest in further developing consulting skills and taking on additional responsibilities.
Preferred Experience
  • 1 years of experience working with federal clients.
  • 1 years in a DevOps environment.
  • Experience leading organizational design or change management initiatives.
  • Familiarity with cloud services, cloud migration, and IT support systems.
Superstar Qualifications
  • Experience with IRS or government industry.
  • Current, active IRS or TREAS Public Trust suitability background investigation.
  • U.S. citizenship and active MBI (minimum background investigation for U.S. Government Public Trust clearance).
