Your Role as a Collections Representative
- Handle outbound and inbound calls
- Set up payment arrangements
- Counsel cardholders on their financial situations
- Use your customer service, communication, and influencing skills to resolve late payments
- Tackle the important work of bringing past-due accounts up to date
- Improve service through your customer service skills
- Effective listening and great communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in computer skills, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Full-time work from home
- Quiet, distraction-free environment with high-speed internet access
- We provide the computer, technology, and equipment needed
- Occasionally meet in person, so you must live within a commutable distance of Cincinnati, OH
- Must satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act
- 6 months of customer service experience or military equivalent experience
- Preference for previous collections experience in financial services or a call center setting
- Must live within a 2.5-hour commute of Cincinnati-West Chester, OH
- Confidence using a computer
- Must be 18 years or older
- Willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation, and submit fingerprints
- New hires must have 9 months of continuous service before eligible to post for other roles
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required
