Position OverviewWe are currently seeking a talented Director of Finance to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving the financial performance of our Pennsylvania offices. As the Director of Finance, you will lead a dedicated team responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes, enabling informed decision-making and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the local office accounting and finance teams, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and payroll processing.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, implementing improvements as needed.
- Standardize and optimize office CRM and commission processing systems to enhance financial performance and data accuracy.
- Manage expense controls and facilitate employee compensation management.
- Support sales and growth initiatives through measurement and reporting of key metrics.
- Assist with the integration of new office acquisitions and regional/national initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, finance, accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry, with a strong background in finance management.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong knowledge of insurance and financial services regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership and management.
- High level of integrity, dependability, and results-orientation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions based on analysis.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
