Job Responsibilities
Analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts, etc.) in alignment with our company's goals and financial standing.
Prepare and update monthly expense analyses by vendor.
Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking, and process analyses.
Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts.
Manage backlog reporting.
Conduct employee time utilization analyses.
Perform quarterly incentive analyses.
Prepare weekly revenue analysis reports to determine estimated quarterly/annual revenue targets and identify gaps.
Handle Day-to-day Management Tasks, IncludingProcurement (PO): Create purchase requisitions to support subcontractor and procurement activities as needed.
Accounts Payable (AP): Review and collaborate with the accounting team to ensure invoices are accurately entered and paid.
Contract budgeting and planning.
Update forecasts for payroll changes.
Update management reports.
Create and maintain financial reports, including financial dashboards and KPIs.
Analyze plan versus actual data and associated variances.
Pull and manipulate data for ad-hoc reporting requests.
QualificationsProven experience as a finance analyst.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or Finance.
Ability to operate with limited oversight.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, if necessary.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Expertise in forecasting and managing project spend.
