The company is currently seeking a dedicated Financial Analyst with specialized experience in behavioral healthcare budgeting and revenue modeling. Based in Manhattan, NY, SAE provides expert consulting services nationwide to non-profit organizations in the social services and healthcare sectors. SummaryAs a Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in conducting financial analyses, preparing reports, and providing strategic recommendations to optimize funds for Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs). You will also offer ongoing guidance and evaluation to support the planning, implementation, monitoring, and adjustment of CCBHC Payment Program Access (PPS) models. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive financial reviews and analyses including revenues, expenditures, cost projections, insurance, and fiscal modeling.
Prepare and review CCBHC Cost Reports, budgets, and related documentation as outlined in project scopes.
Recommend enhancements to financial performance by analyzing PPS outcomes, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and advising management on corrective actions.
Deliver clear and relevant financial analyses to key stakeholders, including executive management and project teams.
Requirements And Skills
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
5-10 years of progressive experience in fiscal management or administration, focusing on financial systems, management information, and controls in supervisory or managerial roles.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and financial management practices.
Experience with auditing, billing compliance reviews, and trend analysis in outpatient treatment services, behavioral health clinics, or care management practices.
Familiarity with CCBHCs, FQHCs, and the broader behavioral health provider/government ecosystem.
Ability to collaborate effectively with executives and team members to achieve project objectives.
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate financial analyses clearly to diverse audiences.
CompensationCompensation for this contract-based position starts at a minimum rate of $50,000 annually. Specific compensation details will be discussed during the interview process and are contingent upon client needs and contract success.
