Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage a 2-year rolling forecast for all sales accounts, SKUs, and promotional activities, guiding financial, purchasing, and production decisions.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations and Production Planning to optimize production and purchasing strategies within our ERP system.
- Conduct detailed analyses to enhance forecast accuracy by account and product type, contributing to improved forecasting processes.
- Optimize inventory levels by analyzing forecast variances and sales order volatility.
- Perform various financial analyses to evaluate the impact of management decisions on company finances.
- Track projected discount and allowance spend, providing strategic insights to Sales teams.
- Partner with Business Insights and Sales to shape promotional strategies, conducting ROI analyses and advising on trade spend allocation.
- Assist in annual and quarterly goal setting and tracking processes.
- Prepare regular management reports on forecast versus goal variances, annual estimates, and growth strategies.
- Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to ensure data integrity and proactive business reporting using Domo.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Experience in analytics-intensive roles, preferably in beverage, food, or consumer products industries.
- Prior experience supporting Sales or Marketing functions is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in quantitative modeling.
- Expertise in Excel; familiarity with Domo or similar data analytics platforms is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive work ethic and strong integrity.
- Excellent communication skills in dynamic organizational environments.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis is desirable.
- Self-motivated team player open to constructive feedback.
- Ability to use data effectively to drive decision-making.
CompensationThe estimated base salary for this role ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
