Position Overview At Phoenix Loss Control, we're on the lookout for a meticulous and analytical Financial and Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Financial and Data Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting financial and operational data to provide actionable insights that drive decision-making across the organization. Working closely with our outside plant damage recovery team, you'll help streamline operations and enhance efficiency in our recovery processes. Location Requirement This position is available exclusively to residents of MN, TX, or FL. Responsibilities
Collect and analyze financial and operational data to monitor performance and identify emerging trends.
Prepare key performance indicator (KPI) reports, financial forecasts, and budgets to inform strategic decision-making.
Develop and maintain robust models to guide business planning and strategy.
Collaborate with the outside plant damage recovery team to optimize recovery processes.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement through thorough data analysis.
Partner with the engineering team to enhance reporting functionality in our proprietary database.
Present findings and recommendations to senior management to facilitate business improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Preference given to relevant degrees).
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Financial or Operations Analyst, or in a similar capacity.
Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
Strong background in financial modeling and familiarity with data visualization tools.
Experience with Power BI is desirable.
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical prowess.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment and engage effectively with cross-functional teams.
