Job Title: Senior Tax Associate
Job DescriptionEssential Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of accounting and tax tasks under the supervision of a manager or partner, including preparing individual, trust, corporate, partnership, and S-corporation tax returns.
Participate in planning, scheduling, and overseeing client engagements.
Assess the level of review needed for tax returns and select components for review.
Supervise and guide one or more staff members, review their work, and provide necessary feedback.
Adhere to deadlines and client time constraints.
Organize and prepare tax working papers.
RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting.
3-5 years of experience in public accounting, demonstrating increasing complexity in tax preparation and accounting tasks.
Hold a current CPA license or be eligible to sit for the CPA exam, with a demonstrated commitment to obtaining licensure.
Experience With International Compliance Forms Preferred.Proficiency in computer accounting and tax software.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.
Strong independent work ethic, sound judgment, and prioritization skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
