DescriptionAre you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for project scheduling? We are seeking a Junior Project Scheduler to join our team and support multiple government clients in the Washington, DC area. This role is primarily remote, but we are looking for someone local who can assist in person if needed.
Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule Development & Management: Review bid/proposal schedules, create baseline schedules, and perform schedule updates and time impact analysis. Coordinate with necessary personnel to gather and validate complex schedule information.
  • Master Schedule Maintenance: Prepare, update, revise, and maintain project task schedules. Ensure that all schedules are well-coordinated, communicated to team members, management, and clients, and reflect the current project status.
  • Budget & Cash Flow Analysis: Collaborate with the team to review budget and cash flow plans, ensuring their accuracy and validity.
  • Client Interaction & Reporting: Interface with clients, attend regular construction meetings, and provide statistical reports to keep everyone informed of project progress.
  • Project Schedule Control: Equip project and company management with the tools they need for effective schedule control, ensuring that project timelines are on track.
  • Data Analysis & Forecasting: Utilize historical data to maintain a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting. Analyze, evaluate, forecast, and report on schedule status against the established baseline.
  • Variance Management: Collect and report progress, evaluate schedule variances, develop work-around plans, and coordinate the resolution of any discrepancies.
  • System Development: Develop and maintain a system that clearly shows the hierarchy of schedules, keeping project and company management fully informed at all times.
