Position OverviewOur Information Technology Directorate seeks a skilled Principal Applications Analyst to join our team. As a key member, you will leverage your expertise in supporting and enhancing our Enterprise Oracle e-Business Suite (EBS) Procurement products and interfacing applications. This role is ideal for a proactive team player with a strong background in software development and Oracle EBS modules. Key Responsibilities
Apply technical expertise to software development, ensuring adherence to standards and specifications.
Develop and maintain program code, conduct tests, and rectify deviations to ensure optimal functionality.
Administer and provide technical oversight for our Enterprise Oracle e-Business Suite procurement products and modules.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into system enhancements, configure changes, and ensure system security and permissions.
Identify and assist in mitigating cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
Lead complex IT projects involving cross-functional teams and external consultants.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.
Qualifications
US Citizenship required.
Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent experience; minimum 8 years in a progressively responsible IT role.
Extensive experience with Oracle EBS modules, particularly in Procurement.
Proficiency in Oracle tools like My Oracle Support and OTN.
Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS setups, including custom program development and module configurations.
Strong understanding of Oracle EBS architecture and components.
Expertise in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow Builder, and BI Publisher.
Knowledge of Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and ADF; familiarity with APEX and Oracle Fusion is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to troubleshoot and test applications effectively.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Superior customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Flexibility for potential telecommuting and occasional off-shift work.
Valid driver's license required; pre-placement physical examination and drug screen mandatory.
