Role OverviewAs a Product Owner (PO), you'll play a crucial role in prioritizing stories for our agile team, ensuring the development of valuable solutions that maintain both conceptual and technical integrity. You will collaborate with your agile team members to define stories, streamline execution by managing the Team Backlog, and ensure the quality of the team's work. This role requires you to provide complete visibility into processes, priorities, and workflow to ensure seamless operations and reduce friction. You'll be responsible for building and managing relationships with business stakeholders and within your team. Key Responsibilities
Work Prioritization:
Collaborate with Product Managers to understand customer needs and business objectives.
Ensure work focuses on high-value stories aligned with product strategy, roadmap, and key milestones.
Define, refine, prioritize, and accept work delivered by the Agile team to meet feature acceptance criteria.
Team Collaboration:
Answer questions from the agile team to facilitate smooth workflow.
Partner with other Product Owners to help the Agile Release Train (ART) achieve its shared objectives.
Make decisions to solve product-related problems and manage trade-offs to stay on track with outcomes.
Stakeholder Management:
Manage stakeholder expectations through iterative demonstrations of completed work.
Actively interact with Product Managers, fellow POs, and other partners to maintain solution integrity.
Essential Skills And Experience
Ability to synthesize diverse perspectives and communicate factually.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to make informed recommendations.
Proficiency in taking ownership and influencing at all levels.
Stability and adaptability throughout iterations with appropriate feedback.
Ability to work with technical teams to understand and prioritize technical stories.
Experience with Salesforce systems and other workflow systems (Bizflow, GSP) is preferred.
Knowledge of group benefit products, operational processes, and systems is a plus.
Additional Qualifications
Salesforce certified and experience with the SAFe Agile framework is desired.
Experience in managing projects that cross multiple capabilities and enhance technology.
Compensation And Benefits
Salary Range: $89,000 - $110,000
