DescriptionAre you passionate about accounting and eager to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare industry? We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant specializing in fixed assets and leases to join a dynamic team. This role will enable you to manage the full lifecycle of fixed asset and lease accounting, ensuring smooth operations from acquisition to disposal while maintaining compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Responsibilities
  • Depreciation Management: Ensure accurate and timely depreciation of assets and consolidate depreciation for reporting purposes.
  • Accounting Support: Provide expert accounting support related to fixed assets to controllers and project teams across various regions.
  • Lease Reconciliation: Oversee the reconciliation of lease expenses, process payments to accounts payable, and coordinate with landlords and property management teams on lease issues.
  • Transaction Processing: Handle monthly transactions including asset capitalizations, retirements, and transfers, with a particular focus on Assets Under Construction (AUC).
  • Lease Data Maintenance: Manage and update lease data in Pro-Lease software, ensuring all changes are recorded accurately and promptly.
  • Compliance and Collaboration: Work closely with the Corporate Accounting team to adhere to month-end timelines and statutory accounting principles.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements within fixed asset and lease accounting operations.
  • Internal Controls: Assist with internal controls, including documentation, monitoring, and review.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions: Support mergers and acquisitions by reviewing financial data, converting it to the general ledger, and providing necessary reports.
  • Reporting: Prepare ad hoc financial reports and assist with the annual audit process.
Requirements
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: At least five years of accounting experience, preferably with exposure to US GAAP.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in major ERP systems and strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs. Experience with NetSuite and Pro-Lease is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Compensation\(80,000.00 to \)85,000.00 per year.
