DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced accountant with a passion for operational excellence to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for executing daily, monthly, and quarterly financial tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes.

- Perform system-to-system reconciliations and address any discrepancies through manual interventions.
- Process and record journal entries, cash transactions, and wire payments.
- Manage cash receipts, disbursements, and wire transfers with precision.
- Collaborate with operational and technology teams to ensure seamless business processes.
- Conduct user acceptance testing for accounting transactions to implement new system features.
- Partner with various teams to coordinate efforts and enhance operational efficiency.
- Solid operational experience in accounting is essential.
- A background in insurance accounting is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in PeopleSoft General Ledger is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills, including expertise in Essbase/SmartView queries, OAC queries, and Narrative reporting.
- An accounting degree is a plus, though not required.
