Are you passionate about contributing to a community-focused organization dedicated to improving consumer experiences? We're seeking a Senior Disability Financial Underwriter to join our team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in computing rates for renewing and prospective moderate to complex group accounts. Your responsibilities will include analyzing data, negotiating competitively priced plans, and providing mentorship to junior underwriters. Key Responsibilities

• Compute rates for renewing and prospective moderate to complex group accounts.
• Collaborate closely with sales to negotiate and recommend competitively priced plans.
• Handle various administrative processes in offering, onboarding, and renewing cases.
• Document all case-related decisions and underwriting rationale.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to junior underwriters to support team growth.
• Participate in projects focused on continuous improvement of underwriting functions and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 or more years of underwriting or financial analysis/risk analysis experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of risk pool management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
• Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree.
• Experience underwriting rates for complex accounts.
• Experience analyzing a wide variety of health or claims related data.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Pay Range: $76,800 - $105,800 per year
