Your RoleAs a Senior HR Staffing Specialist, you will provide expert-level staffing, recruitment, and placement services. Collaborate closely with the Federal HR team, offering guidance in advisory services and human resources operational work while mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment Expertise: Manage the full hiring lifecycle from recruitment and job analysis to onboarding and separation. Advise on special appointing authorities and hiring flexibilities.
  • Candidate Assessment: Develop and approve assessment questionnaires to identify top candidates, utilizing USA Staffing for managing assessments and vacancy postings.
  • Eligibility and Compliance: Review and validate candidate eligibility, adjudicate veterans’ preference, and ensure compliance with IRS and OPM requirements.
  • Application Management: Oversee applicant pools, issue selection certificates, and provide guidance on interviews and selection procedures.
  • Documentation and Audits: Process staffing-related actions, maintain accurate case files, and conduct audits in preparation for external reviews.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in federal staffing, rules, and regulations preferred.
  • Certification: Current Delegated Examining (DE) certification required.
  • Experience: 7 years of experience supporting federal recruitment and staffing, with familiarity in using automated personnel systems.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, strong communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Remote Work: Experience working remotely and using collaboration tools.
  • Availability: Ability to work Monday through Friday, with flexibility within normal work hours.
  • Clearance: Must have a current Public Trust Clearance or be able to obtain one.
