Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (Contractor) to join our dynamic team. In this highly visible role, you will play a crucial part in driving our organization's growth and financial performance. The Senior Financial Analyst will provide strategic financial consulting, business partnering, and robust analytical support to our leadership team.
Compensation
  • Salary: $100,000-$110,000 annually, commensurate with experience
Duties And Responsibilities
  • Synthesize and communicate financial and operational data clearly and concisely.
  • Collaborate with business leaders during annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
  • Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results against planned objectives, identifying variances and recommending actionable strategies.
  • Assist in preparing and delivering monthly reports to our parent company.
  • Contribute to the development and presentation of performance metrics and scorecards.
  • Develop analytical models to evaluate ongoing operations and forecast profitability.
  • Create financial models to assess the benefits of special projects or acquisitions, supporting the development of business cases.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, operational efficiencies, and enhanced financial analysis and reporting.
QualificationsRequired:
  • 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including experience with building data models and macros.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret various types of data to draw accurate conclusions.
  • Deep understanding of key performance drivers and their impact on financial results.
Preferred
  • Experience with Epicor or similar ERP systems, Cognos Controller or similar data consolidation and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or similar data analytics and reporting tools.
