Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial operations of the Pharmacy Department, including revenue cycle management, medical billing, claims processing, and handling denials.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze aging reports to identify trends and areas needing improvement.
- Develop and maintain cash flow projections, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
- Optimize financial resources to enhance patient care outcomes.
- Utilize data analytics to inform business strategies and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with the 340B drug pricing program and maximize its benefits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and financial performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in financial management within the medical industry, particularly in pharmacy operations.
- Proven expertise in revenue cycle management, medical billing, claims processing, and handling denials.
- Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ability to prepare and analyze aging reports and develop cash flow projections.
- Experience in financial management roles that support patient care services.
- Strong knowledge of data analytics and business strategy.
- Familiarity with the 340B drug pricing program.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
