About The RoleAs a Senior IT Manager, you will lead a dynamic team to provide exceptional 24/7 IT service that supports our business objectives. You'll oversee IT services, systems, and processes, manage projects, handle recurring tasks and incidents, and work with vendors, all while ensuring top-notch security practices.
What You'll Do
- Lead a global team of IT system administrators and help desk professionals.
- Manage Mac and Windows workstations and software for our remote workforce.
- Oversee cloud services including Google Workspace, Office 365, Okta, Slack, Atlassian, Zoom, and AWS workspaces.
- Handle IT projects, recurring tasks, business continuity planning, and incident management.
- Supervise the IT Service Desk to ensure high-quality service in line with SLAs.
- Report on IT functions and recommend new technology solutions.
- Support robust security practices for all IT systems and services.
- Contribute to security and compliance initiatives, including training, phishing prevention, vulnerability management, data loss prevention, incident management, and audits.
- Bachelor's degree (a technical field is a plus but not required).
- 3 years of IT management experience and 6 years in IT administration with a focus on security.
- Experience managing remote help desk and system admin teams and supporting a remote workforce.
- Proven track record with Mac and Windows fleets and MDM.
- Strong skills in Okta, Google Workspace, and Office 365.
- Excellent project and vendor management skills.
- Proficient in managing servers, networks, and SAAS services.
- Experienced in security incident prevention, detection, and response.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix is a significant advantage.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure services such as AWS.
- Familiarity with cloud service integrations like Zoom, Slack, and Atlassian.
- Knowledge of security assurance standards, such as SOC 2, and ITIL is a plus.
CompensationCompensation for this role includes a base salary, equity, and a range of benefits. The base salary for this position ranges from $165,000 to $205,000 USD. Actual salaries will be determined based on factors such as experience, skillset, and location. Your recruiter can provide more details.
