Your RoleAs a Service Authorization Specialist, you will:
Analyze inquiries using your expertise and available reference materials.
Provide responses and take action to resolve issues, interacting directly with requestors or escalating as needed.
Consult with management to develop effective solutions for complex issues.
Monitor and track progress on customer inquiries, contributing to a shared knowledge database for consistency.
Assist less experienced team members in crafting appropriate responses.
What We're Looking For
Experience: At least two years in a relevant field (e.g., finance, human resources, procurement, IT).
Technical Skills: Proficiency with fax machines, computer software, and phone systems.
Problem-Solving: Strong business and analytical problem-solving abilities.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional approach to customer service and presentations.
Detail-Oriented: Ability to follow and interpret policies, procedures, and guidelines, and to manage time effectively.
Role Expectations
Location: This is a remote position, but candidates should be based in Alaska or the West Coast.
