Responsibilities
- Assist in the smooth operation of period-end closing procedures, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This includes tasks such as bank and account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and journal entries.
- Collaborate closely with our accounting team, offering support across various functions including inventory accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Provide valuable assistance to our CFO in overseeing day-to-day operations and supervising the accounting team.
- Partner with management to analyze financial data, offering insights crucial for informed decision-making.
- Uphold compliance with accounting principles and company policies, ensuring accuracy and integrity in all financial matters.
- Aid the CFO in transitioning smoothly into controller duties, effectively supervising the accounting team.
- Possess 5 years of accounting experience, with a preference for retail or manufacturing industry exposure.
- Demonstrated proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP systems, showcasing a strong understanding of financial platforms.
- Excel in analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex financial challenges.
- Exhibit advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and managing large datasets.
- Ability to work autonomously, effectively managing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams.
