### Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled, service-minded Sr. Billing Specialist with a positive attitude who excels in problem-solving and meeting the needs of our advisor base and their clients. Our company provides independent financial advisors with transition support, compliance support, real estate solutions, human resources support, marketing solutions, and information technology support. As a Sr. Billing Specialist, you will play a critical role in leading and supporting the supervisor with advisory fee billing systems administration, processing, and documenting asset-based invoicing. You should be a skilled multi-tasker with excellent time management, computer, and communication skills. Excellent follow-through and customer service skills are essential. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their role and takes pride in their work. You will report directly to the Billing Supervisor with indirect reporting to the Managing Director of Operations.
Location: This position is ideally based in New Orleans, LA, but remote applicants will also be considered.
### Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level client service to advisor teams by promptly responding to billing and compensation inquiries and issues.
• Compile and process client rebates with various custodians across multiple databases in a timely manner.
• Support multiple internal teams with reconciling advisory fees and uploading fees and rebates to various custodial platforms.
• Complete month-end reporting needs for the accounting team across multiple databases.
• Problem-solve complex billing and compensation scenarios across multiple databases.
• Recommend and implement billing structures/solutions to improve payment outcomes.
• Navigate custodian and third-party platforms to locate relevant reports, tools, and technology.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and yearly quality control checks and audits.
• Complete the monthly advisory billing process as needed.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely manner.
• Follow up on issues and inquiries until fully resolved.
• Collaborate closely with Billing Specialists and the Billing Supervisor.
• Make compensation recommendations, accommodations, and decisions in client-based matters when necessary.
• Support the creation and implementation of process efficiencies.
• Develop training materials and procedure documentation.
• Assist with special projects as needed.
• Perform other billing, compensation, and finance duties as required.
• Compile and process a high volume of accurate invoices from various billing schedules, including asset-based, flat rate, advance and arrears, and different frequencies and cycles.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.

### Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• Three to five years of experience in accounting or advisory billing.
• Experience within the financial services industry is highly preferred, whether in an advisory firm, RIA, or multi-custodial environment.
• Familiarity or experience with Schwab and/or Fidelity.
• Experience with Orion Billing Audit & Billing Generator is required.
• Experience with AdvisorBOB and Salesforce is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
• Series 7 is a plus.
• FBI background check required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with expertise in Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet or exceed deadlines.
• Ability to independently manage future tasks and ensure timely execution.
• Professional communication skills with co-workers, advisors, and other business units.
• Flexibility to work in a growing organization.
• Ability to project a positive, professional attitude with co-workers, customers, and various business contacts in person and over the phone.

### Salary:

• Base salary of $70,000 - $75,000, based on experience, plus eligibility to participate in the company's bonus program.
