As a Product Underwriter at the company, you will collaborate with leaders across operations, product management, engineering, and design to tackle complex challenges. Responsibilities
Collaborate with the VP of the company Underwriting to implement our vision of leveraging human expertise and technological advancements for the benefit of First American and its customers.
Work with cross-functional teams to find the optimal balance between technology and risk selection, ensuring profitability and compliance in the insurance business.
Mentor and develop underwriting talent within the team, attracting top-tier multidisciplinary thinkers to join the company.
Co-develop new technologies, products, and services, bridging the gap between technical and business operations.
Provide strategic guidance on the integration of technology into title insurance and settlement services.
Requirements

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; law degree or graduate degree in a relevant field preferred.
5 years of experience in the title industry (title search/examination or underwriting) or in law practice focusing on real property or technology.
